On July 6, the ForestTech Accelerator program was completed in Moscow, launched in November 2020 at the initiative of Priangarsky LPK and with the support of GlobalVentureAlliance. The program goal was to find and implement advanced technologies in timber harvesting and processing.
For this, out of the 200 applications received in December 2020, 36 were selected. These teams in January-February 2021 passed the online training of the Preaccelerator. Of these 20 teams were selected to present their pilot project at the qualifying day on March 5th. And then 10 teams took part in the Accelerator program based on the selection results.
On July 6, 2021, in Moscow the «Opti-Soft» director Anton Shabaev and the commercial director Alexander Salivonik presented the results of Opti-Sawmill piloting at the Priangarsky LPK. The software system uses industry expertise and special mathematical algorithms, including artificial intelligence methods, to help timber industry enterprises to increase the yield. The results demonstrated by Opti-Sawmill were highly appreciated by the customer and the experts.
The Opti-Sawmill implementation allows to increase the company’s marginal profit and production yield, as well as to reduce personnel time spent on routine operations.
